Saudi Product Recalls Reach 413,000 Vehicles and Goods in 2025

Saudi product recalls recorded significant activity in 2025 as the Ministry of Commerce carried out 173 recall campaigns involving defective vehicles and consumer goods, as part of efforts to protect consumers and improve product safety in the local market.

Official data showed that Saudi product recalls included around 284,000 defective vehicles and 129,000 consumer products, bringing the total number of recalled units to more than 413,000.

The ministry highlighted rising consumer awareness of the importance of responding to recall campaigns, with participation rates increasing by 13% compared with the previous year.

Electrical and electronic devices topped the list of recalled items, followed by household appliances and solar panels.

Authorities continue to publish updates on Saudi product recalls through official platforms to ensure consumers remain informed and safety standards are upheld.
