Saudi Riyal Holds Steady Against the Egyptian Pound in Banks Today
The Saudi riyal maintained its stability against the Egyptian pound during today’s trading in Egyptian banks, reflecting steady conditions in the currency market.
The Central Bank of Egypt reported the Saudi riyal at an average rate of 12.61 EGP for buying and 12.65 EGP for selling, indicating limited movement compared to recent updates.
At the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr, the Saudi riyal traded at 12.53 EGP for buying and 12.60 EGP for selling, while Bank of Alexandria recorded 12.57 EGP for buying and 12.62 EGP for selling.
The Commercial International Bank (CIB) listed the riyal at 12.55 EGP for buying and 12.60 EGP for selling, whereas Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank recorded 12.27 EGP for buying and 12.62 EGP for selling.
Market participants continue to monitor the Saudi riyal closely due to its strong link to travel flows and trade activities between Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
